LED Technology & Modular Electronics.

With the introduction of LED lighting and modular electronics, pinball machines become more efficient and easier to maintain.

 

Traditional incandescent bulbs are increasingly replaced by energy-efficient LEDs.
LEDs consume less power and generate less heat.
They also have a much longer lifespan than conventional lamps.
This significantly reduces maintenance requirements.
LED technology also enables brighter colors and dynamic lighting effects.
Game events can therefore be displayed more clearly and dramatically.
At the same time, manufacturers introduce modular electronic systems.
Electronic circuit boards become plug-in modules that are easier to replace.
Problems can be diagnosed and repaired more quickly.
Maintenance and servicing become simpler and more cost-effective for operators.
An early example of this generation is “Spider-Man” (Stern Pinball, 2007).
