Introduction of reel counters and improved electromechanics

At the beginning of the 1950s, mechanical reel counters were introduced, displaying scores reliably and clearly visible. At the same time, electromechanics and scoring logic were significantly improved.

Relay and switching mechanisms became more reliable, and scoring systems grew more complex. Multiple game objectives and structured rules were introduced, making the gameplay more varied.

Scores were now displayed using mechanical reel counters rather than only illuminated score panels on the backglass.
