The book for the movie of the same name was written by none other than James Bond inventor Ian Fleming. The script for the musical-fantasy adventure film was written by director Ken Hughes together with Roald Dahl. Chitty with the number plate “GEN 11” is brought to life in his garage by the ingenious inventor Caractacus Potts. It can fly, swim and of course drive. Together with the children Jeremy and Jemima and the attractive Truly Scrumptious they experience incredible adventures.
