Mercedes 300 SL. The original model was produced by Mercedes-Benz between 1954 and 1957, with approximately 1,400 units built.

The designation “SL” stands for “Super Leicht” (super light), referring to its lightweight construction. With a top speed of up to 250 km/h, the 300 SL was the fastest production sports car of its time. From 1971 onward, Gullwing Motors began building a small number of detailed replicas of the legendary 300 SL. The vehicle shown here is equipped with a 180-horsepower Mercedes inline six-cylinder engine from the W116 series. In 2019, an original 300 SL was sold at auction for more than one million US dollars, highlighting its exceptional collector value.
