Three-wheeled vehicle with optional windshield. The simple roadster featured a two-speed automatic transmission and an electric starter, which was advanced equipment at the time. Steering is operated via a distinctive handlebar, and the foot brake also serves as a parking brake. A horn and distinctive headlights were standard features. Power is supplied by a 6-volt battery.
Power comes from an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine producing 4 hp. Top speed approximately 63 km/h. Displacement 170 cc. Fuel consumption approx. 2.9 l/100 km. Length 230 cm, width 112 cm. Chrome-plated chassis with aluminum body. Sales price approximately $400 to $550. Four colors were available: red, blue, green, and yellow. Comedian Bob Hope was among the first owners and supporters of the Motorette.
